There are 10 slots available. The 'talk' will be limited to 4-5 minutes and no more than 5 slides. If there are more than 10 lightning talk registrations, the Spring Conference committee will select the speakers to ensure a diversity of topics, labs and different levels of seniority.
Lightning talk registration is now closed. If you would still like to participate, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
This will be a great public speaking opportunity, so we strongly encourage students and postdocs to apply.
The lightning talks will be judged during lunch and the winner will receive a cash prize. The printed slides must be presented at the poster session to be qualified for the cash award.
If you have questions about the Lightning Talk, please contact Erik Young.
All participants are encouraged to present a poster. The poster session will be held throughout the event. If you plan to present a poster, you must register to reserve space. Note: only the registered posters will be judged for the 2 cash awards.
Deadline to register posters is Friday, April 20.
Poster boards (4' x 4') will be provided. Please make your poster no wider than 48 inches. Set-up will begin at 8:00 a.m. on April 27. The poster display space is available on a first come first serve.
Posters will be judged during lunch. There will be a prize for the poster receiving the most votes.
If you have questions about posters, please contact Erik Young.
