Undergraduate Confocal Microscopy Summer Research Opportunity

The CGRB is offering the use of their Zeiss 780 NLO confocal microscope  summer 2017 for undergraduate research projects. Accepted students will conduct their proposed research during the summer term, under the guidance of their research mentor. The research mentor should be trained in using the confocal microscope before supervising the undergraduate project and should be present while the undergraduate uses the system. The students will be trained in the use of the microscope by Center staff. The CGRB will waive the training fee for the undergraduates and will provide an allowance of ten hours of free microscope time to each student for the conduct of their summer research.
